Description

system28

Siegmund System 28 welding tables are the literally the toughest tables in the world. This range is suitable for heavy duty applications and alrger projects. With a large choice of sizes and styles you are sure to find a variation to suit your needs.

High resistance against rust, impact, scratches and weld spatter gives the tables very long service life.

A seemingly endless choice of clamps, bolts, squares, stops, legs and accessories makes the system extremely versatile.

The highly visible grid, equispaced holes and quick release clamps make the system fast and easy to use.

All of the System 28 welding tables work on a 28mm hole diameter (hence the name) and are the top of Siegmunds range. The same accurate and repeatable results can still be achieved, but with stronger clamping and a more stable platform for even the largest of fabrications. Ideal for proto-typing and batch production, giving you the piece of mind that your first-off is the same as your last-off.

There are four types of table within this range, which are detailed below:

Basic

  • Material thickness approx. 25mm
  • Table side depth 25mm flat plate
  • Hole spacing 100mm
  • Grid spacing 100mm
  • Side holes M12 threaded
  • Material Plasma nitrided tool steel
  • Load capacity up to 2000kg (spread load)
  • Table hardness (core) 165 – 220 Vickers
  • Table hardness (surface) 450 – 750 Vickers
  • Standard working height 850 or 950mm
  • Radiused bore holes and edges
  • Also available in Professional Extreme 8.7.

Summary: Basic welding tables in this range are ideal for lighter structures where stronger clamping is required. The lack of ribbing means that the table is more prone to bending.

Professional 750

  • Material thickness approx. 25mm
  • Table side depth 200mm
  • Hole spacing 100mm
  • Grid spacing 100mm
  • Material Plasma nitrided tool steel
  • Load capacity up to 4000kg (spread load)
  • Table hardness (core) 165 – 220 Vickers
  • Table hardness (surface) 450 – 750 Vickers
  • Table structure is rib reinforced for strength
  • Standard working height 850 or 950mm
  • Radiused bore holes and edges
  • Graduated scale on table edges

Summary: Professional 750 welding tables offer a more rigid table due to the deeper sides and deeper ribbing. They are more suited to a production environment than the Basic version and can carry more load.

Professional Extreme 8.7

  • Material thickness approx. 25mm
  • Table side depth 200mm
  • Hole spacing 100mm and Diagonal grid
  • Grid spacing 100mm
  • Material Plasma nitrided tool steel
  • Load capacity up to 4000kg (spread load)
  • Table hardness (core) 280 – 340 Vickers
  • Table hardness (surface) 450 – 850 Vickers
  • Table structure is rib reinforced for strength
  • Standard working height 850 or 950mm
  • Radiused bore holes and edges
  • Graduated scale on table edges

Summary: Professional Extreme 8.7 welding tables offer a harder wearing surface than the Professional 750 range. They are more suited to a production environment and are less prone to weld spatter sticking to the surface. The diagonal grid gives more clamping options.

Professional Extreme 8.8

  • Material thickness approx. 25mm
  • Table side depth 200mm
  • Hole spacing 100mm and Diagonal grid
  • Grid spacing 100mm
  • Material Plasma nitrided tool steel
  • Load capacity up to 4000kg (spread load)
  • Table hardness (core) 360 – 420 Vickers
  • Table hardness (surface) 500 – 900 Vickers
  • Table structure is rib reinforced for strength
  • Standard working height 850 or 950mm
  • Radiused bore holes and edges
  • Graduated scale on table edges

Summary: Professional Extreme 8.8 welding tables offer the hardest wearing surface in the Siegmund range. The harder surface improves impact and scratch resistance, making it almost indestuctable. The diagonal grid gives more clamping options.
