Description
The Walter Schnorrer SC Profi range of purge tools is for use inside tubes and pipes from 13mm – 215mm inside diameter.
The SC Profi is supplied as one unit consisting of two triple sealing elements (inlet and outlet) and a centre connection piece. The centre connection can be solid for straight pipes, flexible for passing round bends or a spring connection for passing round several bends in succession. Connection hose is fitted with an 8mm quick release fitting.
The gas inlet and outlet triple sealing system prevents the unit tilting or falling over inside the pipe and guaranties that at least one sealing lip will always remain tight to the pipe wall. The discs are UV and temperature resistant to 340˚C for up to 1 hour.
The gas diffuser is made of sintered metal to provide an even flow of gas inside the pipe and prevents any turbulence behind the weld joint. This eliminates the risk of excess oxygen inside the pipe whilst at the same time achieving an extremely short purge time. The short purge time results in a large cost saving in both gas and waiting time.
