Description
The Walter Schnorrer purge Umbrella is an ingenious design for back purging the weld area when welding stubs or tubes onto pipes or vessels.
The umbrella is inserted through the stub and then pulled back onto the inside of the pipe to form a seal.
Purge gas is fed in through the inlet hose and out through the sintered metal diffuser into the weld area.
When welding has been completed the umbrella can be simply pulled out through the stub.
